Biography
Juliana Diógenes-Lima holds a Master's degree in Education Sciences for Climate Change and Sustainability from the University of Porto, Portugal, a BA in Social Communication from the Federal University of Ceará, Brazil, and a specialization in Literary Journalism from Faculdade Vicentina, Brazil.
In 2024, she worked as a Research Assistant on the project JustFutures: Climate Futures and Just Transformations – Young People’s Narratives and Political Imaginaries at the Center for Research and Education at the University of Porto. From 2021 to 2023, she was awarded a Master's Student Grant funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). During this period, she was a Research Fellow on the ClimActiC Project: Citizenship for Climate – Building Bridges between Citizenship and Science for Climate Adaptation at the University of Porto. In this role, she contributed to participatory research in environmental and climate change education, fostering community-driven knowledge creation and actionable solutions.
Her research interests include political education, social networks, education and technology, citizenship and democracy, youth political participation, and participatory methodologies.
