Biography

Cláudia Margarida Ramos de Sousa e Silva holds an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering and Management (University of Aveiro, Portugal, 2000), an M.Sc. degree in Operational Management (University of Aveiro, Portugal, 2004) and a Ph.D. in Industrial Management (University of Aveiro, Portugal, 2015).
She is Professor at Águeda School of Technology and Management (ESTGA) of the University of Aveiro in Management and Quality Management.
She was Invited Assistent Professor at the Department of Economics, Management, Industrial Engineering and Tourism (DEGEIT) of the University of Aveiro, where she teaches Project Management and Entrepreneurship (2016-2022). Previously, between 2007-2016, she was an invited lecturer at this Department in the same areas.
She was an invited assistant professor at the Mechanical Engineering Department of the University of Coimbra where she taught Quality Management, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Production Management (2016-2019).
She is full researchers of the research unit on Competitiveness, Governance and Public Policies (GOVCOPP) of the University of Aveiro. Her research interests include Project Management, Sustainability, Quality Management, Agile Management and Action Research areas. In the educational field, her current research interests include a multigenerational approach to know and understand generation Z and developing teaching programs adjusted its characteristics.
She has several years of experience in SMEs, specifically in the automotive industry as Quality Manager and Project Manager (2000 – 2018). Recently she has also performed these functions in consulting service, where she participated and developed some industry-based projects.
