Biography

Rodrigo Aquino is an Adjunct Professor at the Centre of Physical Education and Sports, Federal University of Espírito Santo (Brazil), at both the graduate and post-graduate levels. He holds an MSc. and Ph.D. in Science from the University of São Paulo (Brazil). Additionally, he serves as the leader of the Research Group on Science in Soccer (GECIF / UFES: dgp.cnpq.br/dgp/espelhogrupo/0909450815597547) and acts as the coordinator of technical-scientific partnership projects between the Federal University of Espírito Santo and youth and professional levels of Brazilian soccer clubs. Furthermore, he ranks among the top 10 Latin American sports scientists with the highest number of soccer-related publications (out of a total list of approximately 1,200 individuals; see Expertscape: https://www.expertscape.com/ex/soccer/c/lam).
