Biography

I am an Associate Professor in Bioinformatics working at the national research infrastructure Science for Life Laboratory (SciLifeLab) and National Bioinformatics Infrastructure Sweden (NBIS), which is the Swedish node of ELIXIR.

I lead the Training and lifelong learning work at these research infrastructures as Head of the national SciLifeLab Training Hub and Training lead for NBIS advanced bioinformatics training. I am acting as the Deputy Head of Node for the Swedish node of ELIXIR. In addition I am one of the Executive Committee members for the ELIXIR Training Platform.

Research interests are educational science, training and learning in combination life science, data- and technology-driven team science domains i.e knowledge and skills found within a life science research infrastructure. Since 2017 I am actively engaged in research linked to education and training.
