Biography

I am a Nigerian with a Ph.D. in Climate Change and Agriculture and an M.Sc. in Plant Breeding and Genetics. I am a Lecturer at the Department of Agronomy, Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike, Nigeria. Currently, I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute (STRI), working on the independent effects of elevated temperature and vapour pressure deficit on the photosynthetic parameters of tropical tree species. My areas of interest include but are not limited to, climate change and sustainable agriculture, forest physiology and ecology, plant breeding and biometrical genetics, agricultural statistics, etc. I am open to fresh opportunities and research collaborations within and outside Nigeria.
