Biography

I am an Associate Professor, in the field of Science and Communication Technologies, at the Department of Communication and Art from the University of Aveiro. My current research interests focus on issues related to the use of Extended Reality technologies and experiences (VR, AR and MR) in various contexts of use such as: well-being, e-tourism, and cybermuseology. I also develop teaching, research and supervision activities in the field of audiovisual content production. A side project I am currently involved in aims to establish a Digital Media Network, made up of partners from ECIU University, to further explore the potential of our resources in the fields of education, research and innovation.
