Biography
Hello, I am Omid Amani, born in 1990. After completing my high school education in Tehran, I entered the International Imam Khomeini University in 2009 to pursue a degree in psychology. In 2013, I successfully ranked 3rd in the master's degree entrance exam in clinical psychology at Shahid Beheshti University. I continued my education in the master's program focusing on child and adolescent psychology from 2013 to 2016.
In 2016, I achieved the 13th rank in the doctoral entrance exam in psychology. Following my acceptance into the doctoral program in clinical psychology at Shahid Beheshti University and due to my strong interest in the field of psychotherapy, I began my clinical and therapeutic activities using various approaches. Along this path, I concurrently engaged in research and educational activities under the supervision of various professors.
I initiated my internship at the Counseling and Psychology Center of Shahid Beheshti University, the Sex Therapy Department of Roozbeh Hospital in Tehran, martyrs Tajrish Hospital, and the Family and Child Clinic of Shahid Beheshti University. Simultaneously, I became a member of the National Elite Foundation, received the Elite Soldier Project, and started a collaboration with the Cancer Control and Prevention Center.
Upon completing the Elite Soldier Project, I obtained employment as a clinical psychologist with license number 7397 from the National Organization of Counseling and Psychology. Alongside conducting research and completing 11 research projects, I have published 63 articles in various areas of psychology and psychotherapy. Currently, I am actively working as a lecturer and psychotherapist.
