Biography

Graduated in Chemistry by the University of Alicante in September of 2016 and with a Master's Degree in Environmental and Sustainable Chemistry in September of 2017 by the same University. Between the years 2016 and 2017, he developed his final degree and final master's degree in the Research Group of Analysis of Polymers and Nanomaterials, Department of Analytical Chemistry, Nutrition and Bromatology at the University of Alicante.

The line of research developed focused on the development and characterisation of inclusion complexes with cyclodextrins for the encapsulation of antioxidant / antimicrobial compounds of natural origin, such as hydroxytyrosol, thymol, carvacrol, among others. In the same way, he worked on the revaluation of by-products to obtain active agents with a high added value (antioxidants/antimicrobials). He is currently working as a predoctoral researcher in the European project Flexpol: "Antimicrobial flexible polymers for its use in hospital environments" and develops his thesis in the area of revalorization of agro-industrial waste.
