I use benthic foraminifera from marginally marine (salt marshes, estuaries) to deep-sea setting to reconstruct environments and environmental changes of the past. Emphasis on mass extinctions (Cretaceous-Paleogene), warm periods in earth history and ocean acidification (Paleocene and Eocene); glaciation (Eocene-Oligocene), Holocene through recent sea level rise; coastal eutrophication and anoxia
