Biography

Having a strong background in ecology and environmental science, I have acquired theoretical and technical skills linked to the importance of biodiversity, management and diverse drivers of change including climate change and land use at various temporal and spatial scales. I have also a working knowledge of data analysis using R software, Tilia, GIS and Dynamic Vegetation Models. I have worked directly as a contributing author of the IPCC and am involved with multiple international societies and institutions. I have organised multiple workshops and outreach activities about applied ecology, and environmental science and lectured and supervised undergraduate and postgraduate students.
