Biography

Born in Vidsel, a small village at the Pite river in the north of Sweden. After gymnasium in Piteå I took a Master's degree in Physics, Math, Pedagogics at Uppsala and Umea Universities. PhD in Hydrology at Uppsala University in 1984. Several employments (Computer System Manager, Researcher, Senior lecturer) at Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences until 1998, thereafter full professor in Physical Geography at Lund University.
