Biography

Ricardo Ramos is a PhD student in Educational Sciences at UTAD and an FCT researcher at CIEB (Basic Education Research Center). He has a degree in Environmental Education (2014) from the School of Education, Polytechnic of Bragança, and a master's in environmental education (2016), and he won the prize for best master's student. Since 2018, he has been a guest lecturer professor at the Polytechnic of Bragança in the Natural Science Department. He is a teacher trainer certified by the Scientific Council for Continuing Education in environmental education and sustainability (D102). From 2020 to 2022, he was a member of the Executive Committee of APECS (Association of Young Polar Scientists). He is a member of ASPEA (ASPEA - Portuguese Association for Environmental Education) and the Center for Climate Literacy (University of Minnesota). Helped develop numerous science congresses and meetings. Ricardo Published several articles in specialist journals focused on literacy and society's perceptions, literacy, and negationism of climate change. His research interests include climate change, environmental education, literacy, and sustainability. He is a supervisor of two master's thesis and more than 10 internship student programs.
