Biography

My research at the Polytechnic University of Valencia focuses on textile engineering, with a special focus on sustainability, material functionalization, and waste recovery for the development of new textile products. My work ranges from the design and characterization of technical fabrics with advanced properties (such as hydrophobicity, antimicrobial properties, and flame retardancy) to the application of circular economy approaches in dyeing and finishing processes, also incorporating life-cycle analysis methodologies. I actively participate in national and international R&D projects, collaborating with companies and technology centers to transfer knowledge to the industrial sector.
