Rita Castro

Biography

I am a Psychologist. Also, Ph.D. Student Fellow researcher at the Human Sexuality Program at the Centre for Psychology at the University of Porto from the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology. Master in Psychology, with an advanced specialization in Clinical Sexology and Couple Therapy and an Advanced Course in Counselling in Sexual and Reproductive Health. Certification of Pedagogical Skills.

Passionate about the area of human sexuality, namely areas of sexual counseling, sexual therapy, couple therapy, sex education, and sexual empowerment.

Research and Education are areas that motivate me. I am interested in the areas of Positive Psychology and Social Psychology.

I am motivated to support the improvement of health, sexual, and psychological, of people, throughout the whole life cycle, promoting well-being, positive intra, and interpersonal relationships, and inter and individual fulfillment.

I am guided by a high sense of commitment and responsibility in a posture of availability, delivery, and openness.

I present a methodical, scientific, and ethical approach to each project I develop.
