Biography
Jon Borregan-Alvarado is an Industrial Technical Engineer specializing in Industrial Electronics, and Industrial Organization Engineer, both from the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU. After working five years as a process, production and continuous improvement engineer in several companies, both in the service sector and the industrial sector, at the end of 2019 begins as a PhD student at the University of the Basque Country EHU/UPV, focusing on the field of Industry 4.0 and 5.0; and more specifically, in collaborative robotics and technological prediction of this sector and its environment. In October 2020, he starts as a professor in this same university, teaching subjects such as Integrated Management Systems or Quantitative Methods, among others.
