Biography

I am Professor of Food Hygiene and Safety at the University of Extremadura (Spain) from 2005 until now. I hold a PhD at the University of Extremadura (Spain), where I have been Assistant and Associate Professor from 1987 to 2005. I have been Teacher Director in the Vice-chancellor for Teaching Staff (2004-2007) at the University of Extremadura and Director of Human Resources and Technologic development in the Research Vice-chancellor at the University of Extremadura (2007-2016). Currently I am the head of the Meat and Meat Product Research Institute at the University of Extremadura. H-index: 36, citations: 4642 (Date december 2021).
