Belinda López-Mesa

Biography

Full Professor in Architectural Constructions at the University of Zaragoza.

She got her degree in Architecture from the University of Seville (Spain) in 2000, after studying architecture at the Seville School of Architecture, whose training she completed with an Erasmus stay at l'Ecole d'Architecture de Paris-Belleville, Paris (France).

She got the PhD degree from Luleå University of Technology (Sweden) in 2004, taking research courses at said university and at the State University of New York (Buffalo, USA), at the Eden EIASM's doctoral education network at the University of Navarra (Barcelona, Spain), and at the Technical University of Denmark (Lyngby, Denmark). She completed pre-doctoral research stays at two European centers for a total of 3.5 months, at the Manchester Institute of Science (Manchester, United Kingdom) between 2001 and 2003, and at the Universitat Jaume I (Castellón, Spain) in 2004.

She has worked at three public European univiersities: at Luleå University of Technology (Luleå, Sweden) between 2000 and 2004, at the Universitat Jaume I (Castellón, Spain) between 2004 and 2010, and at the University of Zaragoza (Zaragoza, Spain) since 2010 to present.
