Biography

José M. Guerrero was born in Madrid in 1996. He obtained his Energy Resources, Fuels and Explosives Engineering Bachelor's degree, his Electric Engineering Master's degree and Electric and Electronic Engineering Ph.D degree in 2018, 2019 and 2022 respectively from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), Madrid, Spain.
Since 2018, he was fully linked with the university environment. In 2018 he participated as an intern in the UPM. After, he worked three years (2019-2022) as Assistant Professor researching and teaching about electric engineering the UPM. During this stage, his study was focused on protection and diagnosis new methods development.
In 2023, he became Researcher and Lecturer in electric engineering at Mondragon University (MU) maintaining the same research field with the additional participation in electric machines design research projects.
Nowadays, he is working as Associate Research Professor in the Universidad del País Vasco (UPV/EHU) in Bilbao, Spain, where he has reassumed the fault diagnosis and protection research line in electric systems with power electronics.
