Biography
Christian Sunday Ugwuanyi is an Associate Professor of Educational Research, Measurement and Evaluation in the Department of Science Education, University of Nigeria, and a Research Fellow at the University of the Free State, South Africa. He specialises in Educational Research, Measurement, and Evaluation. His research interest revolves around using assessment outcomes/information to inform effective teaching and learning at different levels of education. Specifically, he has conducted several research with other colleagues in the following areas: improving effective teaching and learning of physics and other related science subjects, management of work/occupational stress among university lecturers, management of mental health issues among children of diverse needs, factorial validation of different scales (depression, sense of community, COVID-19 among others). Currently, he is collaborating with Prof. Chinedu Okeke of the University of the Free State, South Africa to evaluate the extent of implementation of the early childhood development programme in the Free State Province of South Africa which is funded by Hosken Consolidated Investments Foundation (HCIF). As an academic, he teaches courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and supervises projects, dissertations and thesis. He has published over 96 articles in both National and International reputable journals.
