Biography

Graduated in Fluid Mechanicis Engineering - "Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos" (1986) in Lima - Perú, Master Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1993) and Doctor Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1997). He did a Postdoctoral Research at "Instituto Superior de Lisboa-ISEL", Portugal (2014). He is full professor at the Federal University of Espírito Santo. He has experience in the area of Mechanical Engineering, with an emphasis on Transport Phenomena and Fluid Mechanics, acting mainly on the following topics: Physical Oceanography, Mathematical and numerical modeling of hydrodynamics, water quality and sediment transport in coastal areas. Lagrangian modeling applied to oil spills.
