Biography
I began my teaching and research work at the University of Granada, where I held one of the prestigious pre-doctoral fellowships from the la Caixa Foundation (2017-2020). Since 2020, I have been working periodically as a substitute professor at the University of Extremadura where I am part of the research group "EduTransforma-T".
I continue to be linked to the research group "OTHER Feminist Perspectives in Social Research" (SEJ-430) of the University of Granada, from which my commitment to research, teaching, knowledge transfer and the linking of my work in the University with the rest of society. My academic, teaching, research and professional trajectory have been interrelated and have mutually influenced each other. My three main lines of research within feminist and gender studies have been derived from this interrelation: 1) migration and human trafficking; b) socio-educational intervention; 3) care, with special attention to university students and the social intervention sector. The development and consolidation of these lines of research are based on different merits that also guarantee my autonomy and research solvency. Among them are the publication of 3 research articles as the first author, one of them derived from my thesis and published in the prestigious Comunicar Magazine (JCR Q1); the publication of 6 book chapters (SPI Q1), 5 as first author; participation in 5 projects (2 national); or the development of a 5-month research stay at ISCTE 2 in Lisbon. In addition, I have written a large part of my articles with academics from the institutions with which I have collaborated. A large part of my publications and the conferences that I have attended also collect the results of the projects in which I have participated. Many of these congresses were international, which, together with the possession of an article under review (SJR Q2) with one of the ISCTE researchers, contributes to the international dimension of my research.
