Biography

I am a basic research scientist and I am currently working in the field of musculoskeletal tissue engineering at the Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institute. Working in different biomedical projects and collaborating with various researchers and clinicians have given me the opportunity of broadening my scientific and interpersonal skills and to improve my critical understanding. Over these years, I was actively involved in the study of different therapeutic strategies: from cell therapies to biological solutions for the treatment of osteoarthritis and osteochondral defects by in vitro and in vivo preclinical studies. I am looking forward to continuing enlarging my professional network and keep the positive energy flowing to optimize priorities, workload and resources to guarantee successful results in this field.
