Biography

The area of ​​scientific profiling is mainly the issues of vulnerability, resilience, security and protection of critical infrastructure, vulnerability of society due to crisis phenomena of natural and anthropogenic nature, integration of risk and quality management and risk management in companies and projects. She is currently the leader of the project VEGA 1/0371/19 "Assessing the vulnerability of society due to the failure of important systems and services in the power industry" and also leads the project "I will survive!", Implemented under the Erasmus + program, Strategic Partnerships for school education. As part of the project of the 7th Framework Program "Risk Analysis of Infrastructure Networks in response to extreme weather", she was the responsible researcher for FBI-UNIZA. In the years 2010 - 2013, she was the manager and solver of the project "Selective Antibodies Limited Immuno Assay Novel Technology" solved within the 7th Framework Program. In the years 2011-2013, she was the leader of the successfully completed project KEGA 077ŽU-4/2011 Integration of quality management and risk management. In 2017, she received the "UNIZA Rector's Award for Outstanding Scientific Contribution and Activity". In total, she participated in the solution of 11 domestic (2 APVV, 4 VEGA, 2 KEGA, 3 ASFEU) and 9 foreign scientific research and educational projects (2 FP7, 2 Leonardo da Vinci, 2 EACEA, 2 Erasmus +, 1 UTB Zlín). She regularly presents the results of her creative activity during Erasmus + mobility at foreign higher education institutions, project meetings and conferences in the Slovak Republic and abroad, e.g. in the USA, Great Britain, Ireland, Finland, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Italy, France, Poland, Hungary, Serbia, Bulgaria and other countries.
