Biography

Doctorate in Marine Resources from the University of Cádiz (Spain, 2019). My work aim at the improvement of fish welfare through stress attenuation mechanisms. Thus, I work mainly with species of interest for aquaculture (seabream, seabass, sole, mullet, grouper, meagre, trout, carp, greater amberjack or octopus), as well as zebrafish, catsharks or fiddler crabs. I have expertise in the evaluation of temperature, salinity, photoperiod, stocking density or hypoxia on the physiological status of fish, by both biochemical and molecular tools.
