Biography

Broad fields of study include Biology, Ecology, Zoology, Conservation, Animal Science, Taxonomy, Biogeography, Phylogeny. Most interested in Conservation and Ecology of Native Australian flora and fauna.

Current field of research includes the Biology, Ecology, Taxonomy and Conservation of Australasian freshwater mussels (Hyriidae).

Previous research 2000-2005 included nutrient management and feeding varied diets to turkeys and pigs to reduce phosphorus excretion with the aim of reducing nutrient run-off when animal waste is applied to land as fertilizer.
