RESEARCH
My research is manly centred on the study of Neolithic and Bronze Age in the Channel area (Britain, France and Benelux). This has led to the management of several programmed and preventive excavations and the coordination of research projects within the UMR 6566-CReAAH « Research Centre for Archaeology, Archaeosciences, History » (CNRS, Rennes and Nantes University and Ministry of Culture) ; I was nominated director of the UMR from 2008 to 2014.
Since 2014, I have developed a new research program for the methodological study of the remains of recent conflicts (comparing archaeological analysis with the stories of survivors).

I am an occasional reviewer for « Antiquity » (2005, 2007), « Anthropologie-International Journal of the Science of Man » (2009, 2011), « Revue Archéologique d’Île-de-France » (2010, 2011), « Préhistoires méditerranéennes » (2011, 2012, 2013), « Gallia préhistoire » (2012), « Revue archéologique du Centre de la France » (2014, 2015, 2016), I am the editor of the Revue Archéologique de l’Ouest and do editorial work for the CTHS (Institut de l’École nationale des chartes), section pré et protohistoire.
