Brian Hibbs, Ph.D., is an associate professor of education at Dalton State College, USA. He teaches courses in applied linguistics, language teaching methodology, and culture and education to prepare pre-service elementary education teacher candidates to work with English learners in their own instructional contexts. His scholarly interests include intercultural competence, second language acquisition, teacher development, study abroad, and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL).
