Sokolova Ludmila Vladimirovna year of birth 1950, Doctor of biology, Leading scientist, Department of Higher Nervous Activity and psychophysiology St. Petersburg State University. Sokolova L. V. graduated from History Department of St. Petersburg State University in 1976 year. During many years she worked as a researcher in Physiological Institute of St. Petersburg State University. Sokolova Ludmila Vladimirovna is the leading specialist in developing and creative presentation of science heritage famous Russian scientist, founder of University physiological school — academician Aleksey Alekseevich Ukhtomskii. Due to the long search of unknown archive data Sokolova L. V. could open for scientific community the theory of Dominanta of A.A. Ukhtomskii from the new point of view. Sokolova L. V. underlined role of this theory as a main principle of anthroposociogenesis for understanding basic vectors and perspectives of modern human science development. In 2003 year Sokolova L. V. defend the PhD thesis titled “Development of biosocial human nature in works of A.A. Ukhtomskii” and in 2005 she honored for this thesis the degree of Doctor of science. Sokolova L. V. is the author of more than 100 scientific publications.
