Biography
I Nyoman Apraz Ramatryana (Senior Member, IEEE) received his Ph.D. degree in Wireless Communications from the Department of IT Convergence Engineering at Kumoh National Institute of Technology, South Korea, in 2023. He received his B.Eng. and M.Eng. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Telkom University, Indonesia, in 2006 and 2014, respectively. He joined the School of Electrical Engineering at Telkom University as a lecturer in 2012 until 2018. He worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Institute for Digital Communications, Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany, from 2023 until 2024. Currently, he has joined the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Information Technology at Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Yogyakarta, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. His areas of expertise are Wireless Communications, Signal processing, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). His research interests include non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA), NOMA-Based Random Access, multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) antennas, compressed imaging, and medical imaging. He is an accomplished researcher with a strong presence in various high-impact journals, including IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, Computerized Medical Imaging and Graphics, IEEE Wireless Communications, IEEE Communications Letters, IEEE System Journal, and IEEE Access. In addition to publishing in prestigious journals, he has contributed to the academic community by serving as a peer reviewer for IEEE journals such as IEEE Access, IEEE Communications Letters, and IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology.
