Biography

Dr. Vipin Jain is Director/Principal and Senior Professor of College of Management (TMIMT) and Officiating Dean of College of Law and Legal Studies. Earlier he was Head of Department, Department of Economics, Banking and Finance, College of Business, Hospitality and Tourism Studies, Fiji National University, Fiji Islands. Prior to that, he was Head of Department, Maharishi Arvind Institute of Science and Management (MAISM), Jaipur. He is having 20 years of experience in Teaching, Research, Consultancy and Administration.

Obtained PhD from Department of Business Administration, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. He is Fellow Member of Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI), Kolkata. He is commerce graduate (B.Com.) and done Masters of Commerce (M.Com.) in two specializations: Accountancy & Business Statistics (ABST) & Business Administration (BADM) from University of Rajasthan Jaipur. He has also done Masters of Business (MBA) in Finance and Marketing from Rajasthan Technical University, Kota and NIMS University Jaipur and Bachelor of Law (LLB) from Law Evening College, University of Rajasthan Jaipur. He has completed Company Secretary (Executive Level) from Institute of Company Secretary of India (ICSI).
Four research scholars awarded PhD under him and currently guiding 8 research scholars. Till date guided 165 Dissertations of MBA Students, 325 Market Survey Reports of BBA and MBA students and around 200 Project of MBA and BBA students. He has completed two Research Projects and given 10 consultancies. He has been PhD examiner.

Published 100 + research papers, 6 books and several chapters in different books, written course material for Rajshree Tondon Open University, reviewed 3 Books and published 4 Patents. He is member of Editorial Board in 4 Journals and referee of 10 Journals. His Google Scholar detail is as follows: h-index=16, i10-index=21 & Citations=1471.

Invited Chief Guest and delivered Keynote addresses at many International & National Conferences. He had organized numerous Seminars & Conferences and also chaired 22 Technical Sessions at various International & National Conferences. He had delivered over 90 invited lectures at various institutes and Universities at national & international level. Recently he had given his contribution in University NAAC visit as chairman of NAAC Committee at College of Management and College of Law and Legal Studies.

He is recipient of many awards and recognitions i.e. Rashtriya Vidya Saraswati Puraskar, Mother Teresa Sadbhavna Award, International Education Excellence Award in Bangkok, Distinguish Leadership Award, Shiksha Gaurav Puraskar, Rajiv Gandhi Education Excellence Awards, International Gold Star Award in Dubai, Golden Educationist of India Award, D.Lit (Honoris Causa), Award of Excellence by Amar Ujala and Sony TV, and Visionary Leadership Award.

During his tenure as director in last six years in College of Management (TMIMT) reaches to new heights. Institute has been recognized at national level the details are as follows:
• Got A category and Certificate of Excellence in B-School Survey in last consecutive years 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 & 2016 done by Chronicle Business Magazine.
