Biography
Seyyed Emad Hooshmand holds a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from
Shahid Beheshti University in 2019. His main research interests are
multicomponent reactions, deep eutectic solvents, and cross-coupling
reactions. He has authored or coauthored over 40 peer-reviewed
journal papers, a book, and two book chapters and has been awarded a
U.S. patent. In 2020, Dr. Hooshmand subsequently completed
postdoctoral training at the University of Medical Sciences, Iran,
funded by the Iran Science Elites Federation (ISEF), studying the
synthesis of green nanomaterials gene carriers and antibacterial agents,
supervised by Dr. Mahdi Karimi. Currently, Emad is a new postdoctoral
fellow at Alzahra University, under the supervision of Prof. Morteza
Shiri.
