Biography
He studied and earned his Ph.D. from Texas A&M University in Interdisciplinary Engineering graduating in 2000, a Master in Manufacturing Systems in 1989 and a MBA in 1991 from Tecnológico de Monterrey, where he studied a BS in Industrial & Systems Engineering graduating in 1985.
Within his professional experience he participated in the mexican autoparts industry as Logistics Manager in Grupo Condumex, and Corporate Marketing Manager for the same Group managing brands such as Gabriel Shock absorbers in México, Condumex and Condulac Cables and Sealed Power Motor Parts. He worked for Pampers Operations for Kimberly Clark de México and has performed some government consulting for some polítical entities in the country such as the Government of the state of Morelos and the municipality of the city of Córdoba, Veracruz.
He has taught classes in undergraduate, graduate and executive level since 1985, also he has coordinated the Logistics and Supply Chain Management Executive education program for the past 22 years in the Mexico City Metropolitan Zone of ITESM, and recently his program has been selected to be the standard program in the Tecnologico de Monterrey all around due to its design and success. Invited as Guest Professor by the Hamburg School of Logistics of the Technical University of Hamburg Harburg (TUHH) from 2006 through 2009, the school became the Kuehne Logistics University.
