Biography

Since 2016, Fabien D'Hondt has held the position of Lecturer - Associate Professor (qualified to direct doctoral research) at the University of Lille. He teaches in the Department of Psychiatry and Addictology at the Faculty of Medicine (UFR3S). Within this academic team, he has specific responsibilities for courses in cognitive and affective neuroscience. As a member of the Plasticity & SubjectivitY (PSY) team within the Lille Neuroscience & Cognition (U1172; Univ. Lille; Inserm, CHU de Lille), his research focuses on unraveling the underlying mechanisms of emotional experiences and their their implications in mental health disorders.

Since 2019, Fabien D'Hondt has also served as the Research Manager at the National Center for Resources and Resilience (Cn2r), a leading center in France dedicated to information, training, and research on post-traumatic psychiatric disorders.
