Biography

I got a PhD in 1998 in the filed of trace metals speciation in seawater using electrochemical techniques. Currently I hold a position as head of Marine Chemistry Department in King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. My research interest is concentrated on the Red Sea coastal environments. I am willing to broad my knowledge to include trace metals speciation, water quality, marine biogeochemistry and marine natural products. I am also involved in a project to study methane geochemistry in the hot brine in Red Sea in collaboration with GeoMar in Kiel, Germany.
