Biography

Our research focuses on the population and landscape genetics of Neotropical forest tree species. By integrating genetic markers and ecological data, we raise: What can spatial patterns reveal about population microevolutionary dynamics and demographic events? From this approach, we analyze the drivers of genetic structure and gene dispersal in spatially explicit contexts, contributing to the conservation and sustainable management of native forest tree populations.
