Biography
As a specialist in oral and maxillofacial surgery and medical informatics, I speak the language of both disciplines fluently. My research focuses on perioperative digitalization with predictive AI models using image and routine data as well as the development of digital assistance systems with direct impact on patient care, especially in head and neck surgery. I am deputy chairman of the Medical Image and Signal Processing working group of the GMDS e.V./GI e.V. (German Society for Medical Informatics & German Society for Computer Science).
