Biography

Md. Rezaul Karim has completed his B.Sc. in Textile Engineering degree from Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University, Tangail-1902, Bangladesh in 2014 with 1st class 1st position. His B.Sc. project work based on Eco-friendly dyeing. Mr. Karim did his M.Sc. in Textile Engineering degree from Bangladesh University of Textiles, Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2021. He worked on nanocellulose extraction from biomass in his M.Sc. thesis work. Mr. Karim started his career as an Executive of Knit Dyeing Production in Impress Newtex Composite Textiles Ltd., Tangail, Bangladesh from 01 April, 2014 to 31 October, 2016. He also worked at Yarn Dyeing Production for six months. Currently, he is working as Assistant Professor (Textile Engineering) at Port City International University, Chattogram, Bangladesh. His major research area is Optimization of water utilization in textile processing; Dyeing process development; Eco-friendly dyeing and finishing; Fabric surface modification; Utilization of sea water in wet process and extraction of nanocellulose with its versatile application.
