Biography
Juliet McMahon works in the Department of Work and Employment Studies (WES) at the University of Limerick. Her core research lies in the area of decent/sustainable work, precarious forms of work and the regulation of the employment relationship. She has published work in the area of equality and diversity, Zero hours work, the regulation of work, precarious work, workplace bullying, workplace climate, the impact of technology on work and workers and employment relations in small firms. She is a member of the international Labour Law Research network (LLRN). Juliet lectures in employment relations and HRM at the University and acts as External Examiner in a number of colleges. She is a Fellow of the Irish Institute for training and Development (IITD) and a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and is active in the CIPD at national level and regional level serving on a number of committees in this regard.
