Biography

I am graduated in Chemistry from Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro (UTAD) in 2007 and I did my Master degree in Chemistry in this same University (2010). I received my P. D. in Chemistry from IST (Mário Nuno and Maria João Brites) in 2015.
Main activities in the field of organic synthesis applied to the development of new organic materials for photovoltaic devices, with focus on Synthesis of new dyes and  hole transport materials  with improved properties for Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells. More recently, synthesis and photophysical studies of organic molecules with Thermally Activated Delayed Fluorescence (TADF) for applications in 3rd generation for Organic Light Emitting Diodes (OLEDs).
