Personal information
Biography
I am currently a Research Fellow at the Singapore University of Technology and Design, Singapore working on Brain-Inspired Computing Strategies. I have expertise in developing innovative models utilizing Statistical approaches, Device Physics, Machine learning, and Network Science-based techniques during my Ph.D. and post-doctoral activities. My Ph.D. (2013-2018) involves modeling electrical percolation properties of nano-systems for optoelectronic applications and proposing innovative modeling formulations. My postdoc at Pittsburgh involves modeling neuroscience problems with mathematical and simulation approaches. Further in France and Singapore I contributed to neuromorphic signal analysis with novel devices and computing approaches. I have also worked on COVID-19 modeling and financial analysis. In my contribution to materials, devices, neuroscience, and neuromorphic computation, I have extensively applied linear algebra, Monte-Carlo simulations, image-signal analysis, Machine learning, and ideas of statistics and probability. I have participated in several teams, collaborative and independent projects, and accomplished nearly 20 publications. I aim to continue exploring my acquired skill set to translate scientific and engineering problems into modeling approaches for their solutions and optimization.
