Biography

Prof. Honglin WANG is a Distinguished Professor, Principal Investigator and Doctoral Advisor at Shanghai General Hospital (SGH), Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine (SJTU-SM), CHINA. He is the National Distinguished Young Scholar (2017) and Chief Scientist of the National Key R&D Program (2020), Ministry of Science and Technology. He is the Director of Precision Research Center for Refectory Diseases, and Executive Vice President of the Institute for Clinical Research at SGH. He is also the Vice Director of the Skin Immunology Branch, The Chinese Society for Immunology. Prof. Wang has long been engaged in the research of immunological mechanisms and novel therapeutic targets of skin diseases and his recent work was published in Immunity (2020), Science Advances (2020), Nature Communications (2022, 2023), EMBO Reports (2022, 2024), Journal of Investigative Dermatology (2022), and Journal of Immunology (2021). He also leads the research and development of a “First-in-Class” drug candidate, CKBA Ointment, for the treatment of psoriasis vulgaris and vitiligo, at Phase II Clinical Trial.
