Biography

Mohamed Said Elsersy, lecturer, Al Ain Women’s Campus, CIS Department, Higher Colleges of Technology, UAE. (Member, IEEE) He received a B.Sc. (with first-class honors) in Computers and Systems Engineering from Al-Azhar University, Cairo, Egypt. He received his M.Sc. degree in wireless communications engineering from the University of Calgary, Canada. He has a Ph.D. degree at the Memorial University of Newfoundland, St. John’s, NL, Canada. He has served as a research fellow at Qatar University. He is the recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II scholarship. Additionally, he won the best paper award for a paper published at the 2nd International Conference on Emerging Technologies and Intelligent Systems (ICETIS 2022), with a paper titled "Privacy-Preserving Data Aggregation Scheme for E-Health". Recent research focuses on the early diagnosis of dementia using machine learning algorithms based on patient information and medical history. Current research interests include machine learning and its applications in healthcare and transportation. Future work focuses on the use of security and privacy awareness for healthcare as well as intelligent transportation systems.
