Biography

Hala Sacre holds a PharmD degree from the Saint-Joseph University of Beirut (USJ) Beirut, Lebanon. She is a drug information specialist and has been the Director of the Drug Information Center at the Lebanese Order of Pharmacists (OPL) since June 2000. She was a member of the Scientific Committee at the OPL from 1998 till 2018 and served on many sub-committees. In October 2013, she was appointed member and rapporteur of the Continuing Education (CE) Committee by the OPL Council, where she managed programs and CE accounts of all pharmacists registered with the OPL till November 2018. Hala is proficient in text editing (English and French), medical writing, Information Technology, and organizing and coordinating scientific events. In January 2018, she co-founded the INSPECT-LB research group. Since that date, she has been the biomedical and website editor and coordinator of the “Health Professions” axis within the group. She has numerous publications, particularly related to the practice of pharmacy in Lebanon, but also public health and mental health.
