*My work*

My research activity revolves around the experimental and theoretical development of new materials for emerging applications, including nanofluids for solar-to-thermal-to-electric energy conversion, phase change materials for thermal comfort in buildings and thermal management of batteries, and nanodiamonds for luminescent nanothermometry.

I am author of 27 JCR-indexed publications (22 in Q1 & 3 in Q2, 8 as corresponding or first author; 413 cites, h-index = 12, i10-index = 16, according to Google Scholar), contributor in 36 communications to congresses (22 in international forums; 14 in national forums, 2 of them as invited speaker) and active member in 10 research projects (1 as PI for allocation of high-performance computing resources in the Red Española de Supercomputación; 1 as research group member in a national competitive call).

PhD in Nanoscience and Technology of Materials (University of Cadiz, 2017-2021).

I was based at the University of Reading (United Kingdom) during 2022-2023 in the context of a long-term academic as a Margarita Salas postdoctoral fellow. By the end of 2023, I succeeded in the Juan de la Cierva fellowships call (JDC2022-048518-I), which I would finally decline to return to the University of Cadiz, where I currently hold a position as lecturer in Physical Chemistry.

*Awards

I have been awarded by Grupo Especializado de Física Atómica y Molecular of the Real Sociedad Española de Física and Real Sociedad Española de Química for the best journal article (2019) and best thesis (2021) by an early career researcher in Atomic and Molecular Physics.
