Biography
Luciana Rosar Fornazari Klanovicz coordinates the Center for Interdisciplinary Gender Studies at Universidade Estadual do Centro-Oeste do Parana (Unicentro), Parana, Brazil, where she is a Professor in the Graduate Program in Community Development. During 2017 she was visiting scholar at Freie Universität - Berlin, Germany, at Lateinamerika Institut. She was a Post-doc researcher at the Graduate Program in Interdisciplinary Humanities at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC), Florianópolis. She was awarded a PNPD-CAPES post-doctorate fellowship for conducting research in Gender and Sciences - The role of southern Brazilian women in Engeneering. She holds a Ph.D. in History from Federal University of Santa Catarina (2008), where she had worked with Eroticism, Media, and Redemocratization. She has published her work in several reviews in Brazil. Her research interests include Body and History, Eroticism, Gender and History, Gender and Science, Brazilian Feminisms, Environmental History and Gender Democracy, gender, and Dictatorship, as well as Post-Dictatorship Brazilian History.
