Biography

Karin Osvaldsson is Associate Professor in Child Studies, Linköping University, Sweden. She har a background as a psychologist and received her Ph.D. in Child Studies from Linköping University in 2002. Working within the main framework of ethnomethodology and discursive psychology, Osvaldsson is engaged in research on identity and social interaction in various settings, including detention homes for troubled youth, emergency rescue services and internet and telephone counselling organizations.
