Aleksei Kirillov

Biography

Born in Arzamas-16 (now Sarov), May 8, 1961 in family of scientific intellectuals.
Father, Kirillov Gennady Alexeevich, - professor of physics, head of department Institute of Experimental Physics of Russian Federation.
Mother, Kirillova Iraida Ivanovna, - designer of electronic equipment.

From 1968 to 1978 are studied in senior school. In school best results are showed in physics, biology, drawing and graduated school in 1978 with silver medal.

From 1978 to 1983 are studied in Gorky(now Nizhny Novgorod) State University on radiophysic faculty. In University was head of student society, leader of student construction group. In 1983 are graduated University by radiophysic engineer specialty (acoustic and medical electronic).

From 1983 to recent year worked in Institute of Applied Physics Russian Academy of Science as a head of laboratory technical hydrodynamics (staff 7 pers.). Took part in investigations of acoustical properties liquids and blood with gas bubbles, opto-acoustical investigations of biological phantoms, thermo-acoustical measurements. More than 70 publication in Russian and foreign scientific journals.

From 1985 to 1987 are studied in Nizhny Novgorod University of design by electronic design speciality (design and manufacturing of electronic equipment).

From 1988 to 1989 are studied in Nizhny Novgorod School of Effective Management by technological management speciality and staff management speciality.

In 1992 created small enterprise MEDUSA Ltd. for research, developing and manufacturing electronic equipment for medical and technical diagnostic. From 1992 to recent year was elected a General Director of this company.

In 1993 have been training as a manager in medical company T2 Medical (Atlanta, Georgia, US) in frames of programm Business Exchange supported by US Department of Commerce.

At now MEDUSA Ltd. is a stable manufacturing Company. Our products - PC-oriented system for medical diagnostic (10 types), systems nondestructive control (for metal and rails defectoscopy), systems for measurement of velosity in gases and liquids, systems for life control from astronauts in space conditions. Achievements of MEDUSA Ltd was demonstrated on international exibitions in Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, London and Vienn. My main activities in Company - developing strategic politic of Company; financial management; foreign relations; relations with regional and federal government; staff control.

In 1997 was elected a corresponding member of Russian Academy of Medical & Technical science.

From 2014 to recent yeas is a Director of innovative department of Institute of Applied Physics
