Biography
Architect and urban planner (Udesc and Universidad de Sevilla, 2014) and MSc. in Urbanism, History and Architecture of the City (UFSC, 2014) developing a critical spatial practice, with production and research in visual cultures from a queer perspective, with experiences in Brazil, Belgium and Canada.
Co-director of muq, a hybrid space that speculates on museum as practice in architecture, psychoanalysis and the arts through experimental pedagogies, curatorship, archives and exhibitions. Muq has integrated the Post-pandemic Exhibition with “Queer Counter-archives” at Museu da Escola Catarinense (2022), and The 5th Wrong Biennale (2021) and the Psychology and Grief Seminar (2021). Contributed with text, design and lectures at ArchDaily, Vitruvius and the Union of Architects of Brazil. Collaborating professor in public Brazilian institutions such as UFSC and UDESC between 2017 and 2022. Participant of the Cohort of Respondents in the AFFIRMATIONS program at Columbia University (NY, USA). Tutor of the Soft Storm workshop at International Design Week, University of Antwerp and Academy of Fine Arts - Antwerp (2023). Artistic Jury (2023) of the 2eme EDIQ Congrès and Artistic Exhibition Fellow (2022) with the multimedia installation "Exception Tectonique", at Université Laval (Québec, CA, 2022). Graphic Design Leader, Editor and Archivist at B612architectes (Brussels, BE, 2022-23) - part of the winning team of design competitions and writer of the Construction21 Green Awards for Écoles Charmille-Schuman and Uccle Architecture Prize. Participating artist and proponent of the collective research project "Paisagem Tendência", in collaboration with Juliano Ventura, Gabriel Villas and Camila Alba, recipient of the Elisabete Anderle Award for Stimulus to Culture/Fundação Catarinense de Cultura (2022-23). Active member of Arquitetura Bicha, a reference in the discussion of queer architecture in Brazil. Curator and creator of Paralela Arquitetura e Artes, awarded by CAU-BR (2018) and by the Fundação Catarinense de Cultura (2017).
