Biography

My scholarship explores the intersections of masculinities, vigilantism, and conspiracies with an interdisciplinary approach to get a better grasp of wider transformations around statehood. I also work on treasure hunts, pieties, and (collective) memory.

My doctoral research at Birkbeck, University of London presented a comprehensive account of processes of subject formation, gendered state enactments, and practices of memory through attending to nationalist communities in Turkey.
