Biography

Wenge Xu is a Lecturer in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) at Birmingham City University. Xu’s research spans across HCI, human factors, immersive technologies, accessibility, and (external) Human-Machine Interface. Xu’s current research has focused on two aspects: (1) understanding human factors of people (typical users, people with accessibility needs, older adults) interacting with emerging technologies (immersive technologies, autonomous vehicle) and (2) improving their interaction with emerging technologies.
